Die Azienda Agricola Massolino Vigna Rionda wurde 1896 vom Urgrossvater Giovanni Massolino gegründet. Bereits in vierter Generation widmet man sich heute der Weinproduktion von hoher Qualität. Die hervorragenden Lagen dieser Kellerei und der grosse Einsatz bei der Produktion und der Zubereitung der Trauben haben diese Kellerei an die Spitze der Barolo Produzenten geführt. 1990 wurde in Serralunga d'Alba ein neuer Keller in Betrieb genommen, welcher erlaubt die Weine bei kontrollierter Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit zu lagern. Die Weine, welche produziert werden, stammen alle von den eigenen Weinbergen.
