The bouquet unfolds broadly and multi-layered with sensual notes of candied citrus and ripe fruit to captivating aromas of dried fruit and spices. Part of the Chardonnay ferments and matures in barriques, while the remaining Chardonnay and Pinot Nero are fermented separately according to grape variety in stainless steel and then refined on the lees for a few months. This is followed by a bottle fermentation of 56 months.
